This website is operated by Ample Green (d/b/a Ample Green Insurance), an independent insurance agency at 526 E Main St, Gardner, KS 66030. In these terms, "we," "us," and "our" mean Ample Green Insurance. "You" means the person using the site.

We are a licensed insurance producer. Our agency National Producer Number is 21285203, and our Kansas producer license number is 3003237500. Jerred Cogdill is our Designated Responsible Licensed Producer (NPN 20610297). You can verify any of this yourself through the NAIC State Based Systems lookup.

We are an agency, not a carrier. We shop coverage across multiple insurance companies on your behalf. The insurance companies are the ones who underwrite policies, issue them, and pay claims. This is not a carrier website.

By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

This site is general information plus a way to start a conversation. The pages explaining auto, home, commercial, life, annuities, health, farm, and railroad coverage are written to help you understand how these products generally work — what they typically cover, where the common gaps are, and what questions are worth asking.

General information is not the same as advice about your situation. Every policy is its own contract, and the terms of that contract control. What a policy actually covers depends on its own language, its limits, its exclusions, its endorsements, and the underwriting behind it — not on what a web page said.

If something on this site conflicts with an actual insurance policy, the policy wins. Always.

This is the most important thing on this page, so we will be blunt about it. Filling out a form on this site does not buy you insurance. It does not start coverage, change coverage, add a vehicle or a driver, increase a limit, or cancel anything.

Every form here is a request to talk. Nothing more. Coverage exists only when an insurance company has accepted the risk and issued or bound a policy, and you have been told so directly by us or by the carrier.

• Do not assume you are covered because you submitted a form.
• Do not cancel an existing policy until the new one is confirmed in force.
• If you need coverage to start by a specific date, tell us early and confirm it with a person.
• If you have an urgent coverage need, call us at (816) 317-5464 rather than relying on a form.

The same goes for anything time-sensitive: reporting a claim, requesting a certificate of insurance, or making a change before a deadline. Email and web forms are not a reliable way to hit a deadline. Talk to a person.

Any number you receive from us before a policy is issued is an estimate based on the information available at the time. It is not a guarantee of price or of coverage.

Insurance companies decide who they will insure and at what price. That decision — underwriting — depends on things that only come out during the process: driving history, claims history, credit-based insurance scores where they are permitted, property condition, inspections, business operations, health information, and the carrier's own appetite for the risk at that moment. Final premium and final coverage can differ from an early quote, sometimes materially.

We also cannot promise that every product is available to every applicant, or in every place we are licensed. Carriers restrict what they write by geography, by class of business, and by risk. Sometimes the honest answer is that we do not have a good market for you, and if that is the case we will tell you.

We shop across the carriers we are appointed with. That is not the same as shopping every carrier that exists, and we do not claim it is.

We are licensed in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. We can only solicit, quote, and place insurance in the states where we hold a license.

The information on this site is available to anyone who visits it, but that is not an offer to sell insurance anywhere we are not licensed. If you contact us from outside our licensed states, we will tell you, and where we can we will point you toward someone who can actually help.

Some pages here touch on law — Kansas auto insurance requirements, how FELA differs from workers' compensation for railroad employees, how certain products are generally treated. We include it because it helps you understand the coverage. It is educational, and it is not a substitute for professional advice.

We are insurance agents. We are not attorneys, accountants, or investment advisers, and nothing here is legal advice, tax advice, or investment advice. Life insurance and annuities in particular carry consequences that are worth reviewing with your own attorney or tax professional before you commit. Laws change; a page written today may be out of date by the time you read it.

When you ask us to shop coverage, the quality of what we get back depends entirely on the accuracy of what you tell us. Please give us complete and truthful information.

This matters more in insurance than in most places. Material misstatements or omissions on an insurance application — undisclosed drivers, prior claims, the real use of a vehicle or a building, health history — can lead a carrier to reprice the policy, deny a claim, or rescind coverage entirely, sometimes long after the policy was issued. A policy that gets rescinded at claim time is worse than no policy at all, because you thought you were covered.

This site links out to services we do not control. The main one is Canopy Connect, which we use so you can share your current policy details without retyping them. Insurance carriers, payment portals, and claim-reporting systems are others you may end up using.

When you use one of those services, you are subject to that company's own terms and privacy policy, not ours. We are not responsible for how they operate, what they do with your information, or whether they are available when you need them. Read their terms.

The text, design, photography, and logo on this site belong to Ample Green Insurance or are used with permission. You are welcome to read it, print it, and share a link to it. Please do not republish it as your own or use our name or logo to suggest we endorse something we have not.

We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot promise either. It is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Coverage details, carrier appetites, and state requirements change, and pages here may be out of date.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Ample Green Insurance is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of this website. Nothing in this section limits any obligation we owe you as your licensed insurance agent, or any right you have under an actual insurance policy or under the insurance laws of your state. Those are separate from this website, and they are not waived here.

We may update these terms as the business or the site changes. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This does not override any protection that the insurance laws of your own state give you.
